Our Chef
Chef
Jason
attended the Le Cordon Bleu program at The Texas Culinary Academy in
Austin, Texas where he graduated with Honors as well as being
recognized for his perfect attendance. After graduating from T.C.A.,
Chef Jason traveled to Palm Beach, Florida where he completed his
externship at the Four Seasons Resort. During his externship in the
pastry department of the Four Seasons his work ethic and commitment to
excellence were recognized by The Executive Chef Hubert Des Marais.
This led to Jason being offered a full time position as Pastry Chef
at the Four Seasons-Palm Beach.
After working as a pastry chef at the Four Seasons Resort, Chef Jason saw an opportunity to broaden his knowledge and expertise, which lead to him accepting a position as Head Baker at the same Four Seasons Resort. It was in this position that Chef Jason really thrived. Jason was solely responsible for new product development as well as all breakfast pastry and artisian bread production.
After barely surviving three consecutive very active hurricane seasons, Chef Jason decided it was time to move back home to Texas. Jason moved to Canyon Lake, Texas where he and a partner from culinary school opened "Jazzy's". However, due to torrential rains in a resort town Jazzy's closed.
It was then that Chef Jason set out to find a new home in which to share his creations with the world. Which brings us to his current home just outside of Glen Rose, Texas. Jason has completed the remodeling of the inside of MR. B's (please browse our picture page) and is set to begin his newest chapter.
